I went to Smithills Secondary school with Pam and we have remained friends ever since. I remember on Pam's first day at school that her Mum was such a caring lady, that she travelled with Pam on the bus to school and caught the same bus back home again!! I also remember going with Pam after school to where her Mum worked, and her Mum would always have saved us a treat which was always delicious!!
